Groundbreaking Foundation AI Models for Pathology

Harvard Medical School researchers have developed two advanced foundation AI models, named UNI and CONCH, for use in pathology. These models, described in recent publications in Nature Medicine, are trained on vast datasets and are capable of performing over 30 diagnostic tasks, ranging from disease detection to prognosis assessment. These models represent a significant leap in pathology AI, potentially increasing diagnostic accuracy and broadening the scope of diseases that can be analyzed.
